How the slip fence system goes together

Slip channels + composite boards, locked into 4x4 posts

A 6 ft x 6 ft section uses 4x4 posts with interior slip channels. Composite boards slide down the tracks to form a tight, modern privacy panel.

Step 1

Set 4x4 posts with channels

Posts get metal slip channels on the inside faces to guide and lock the boards.

Step 2

Slide in starter boards

The first boards drop into the channels and square up the span.

Step 3

Fill the panel

Remaining boards stack snugly to reach the full 6 ft height.

Step 4

Lock and finish

Channels hold everything in place — a clean, durable, fire-resistant assembly.
